Storyboard

After a couple of group discussions, we came up with the idea of a virtual environment wherin the user has a choice of destinations.

The user will start out in a "Holodeck"-like room and then proceed to a small portal where a selection can be made by approaching a kiosk.

The user will have two choices: an interesting town and a theater famous in the virtual world.

Once the user is in one of these world, they can come back to the portal by stepping into the exit door.

If time permits, we would like to incorporate intelligent door opening/closing based on user position.

Town

We added some interesting lighting effects for navigating in the town. The lighting is similar to a miner's headlight. Similarly, upon entering the town, the ambient lighting is dark. However as the user moves in the town, the lighting is dependant upon the user's location.

Theater

The Theater has a Concession stand as well as a large theater hall. In this world we combine both textures and materials in the rendering of the model which was a challenge to work with the OBJ parser. The Concession stand features several JPG images with Clemson colors. The theater hall features a large screen.
